I suspect my last post may make it sound like I am coming to have a warped sense of what the heck I'm doing here. I think so, I'm definately getting a bit warped, but maybe thats okay.
I think I need to give a post-analysis of why I am becoming a shallow bastard and attempting to chase hot girls and etc. Yeah I'm really not that kind of guy, but I think in lieu of meeting any wife type of material, you gotta just play the field. Getting tied down with a random GF at my age is a questionable act unless the GF is really long term worthy. This does create a conondrum because it causes me to be overly picky about relationships and overly scrutinizing too early on. I suspect this is the same trap that many of these 30's tokyo gals fall into when looking for their breadwinner -- they start on a rule like me of waste time cause the clock is ticking so they are waiting for really good.. but the reality is many go on for years w/o dating anyone at all due to the new rules of engagement!
Thus.. whats a guy like me to do? I ponder it. There are several girls in the queue who are fairly cute, nice, etc but not really what I'd mark as a true LT keeper... thus it troubles me to wonder if I should give it a go, or if I should wait it out for better material. Tough balance really. I think its like being unemployed.. the longer you are unemployed the worse it gets -- you start to rot like old garbage.
Anyways Saturday I threw a housewarming party. It was pretty fun. I had about 15 people total, quite a few "randoms" that I met just last week and invited to fill the space gaps. Its amazing how much people can drink and eat... I think we went thru:
3 bottles of wine
1 bottle of champaign
20 coronos,
6 sam adams
6 large asahi's
8 random beers
almost entire bottle of Grey Goose
1/4 bottle of rum
1/3 bottle of gin
Crazy thing is I still have like 40 beers left and now have like 4 more bottles of wine, etc. People bring alot of shit, so sometimes you wind up w/ more than you started with! Save it for next party, but its an endless cycle.
